A very moving and powerful story, one that sheds light on the absolute personal devastation caused by depression. Here is one passage that stood out to me in particular: “Forget the old adage “sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.” Whoever wrote that was either deaf or a psychopath, because bones heal, but hurtful words imprint themselves on the brain like an acid tattoo!” SO TRUE!
